Orienteering 51:50 [3] 5.73 mi (9:03 / mi)

Red course at Chatfield. Fairly challenging, lots of stream crossings and trails and green. 7.4km straight-line. Pretty good run, was slow to 1 just to make sure I was getting off to a good start, went to the wrong tree with a control at 7, but a quick recovery, got caught up in the green a bit at 12 and left the control headed too far south, took a short detour around a mound going to 12 due to indecisiveness, there was no good place to get to the stream going to 17 and didn't realize how far north I had gotten on the trail so kinda didn't take the best route as reports were that a straight shot to 17 after the stream crossing worked well. I've gotten messed up here in the past because of the detail and did well to keep out of that kind of trouble.

Mt. Bike 1:10:00 [1] 14.4 mi (4:52 / mi)

Took the mt. bike as it is low maintenance. Very nice evening. Rt 34 bike trail to J-Jones, a lap around that, then to Aims, then to Country Club open space, did a bunch of laps to dial in the distance around the loop, then back through Aims and home via 20th. The loop around Country Club is 0.45 miles, the NW spur is 0.05, so there's a perfect 1 lap 800m there, with a quarter split right in the S corner. I will have to try a running workout there some point soon.

Running club. It was very stormy all afternoon - tornado warning, some hail, and of course lightening. Because of the lightening, was a bit late to arriving as wanted to be sure the lightening was gone. The storm made for perfect running weather though, temp was about 50, high humidity, and no sun. MK was there so there was someone to pace off of. 8, 6, 4, 3, 2 min with longer 3min rest. Paces were 5:52, 36, 28, 24, 05. Was 1:14 at the quarter on the last one, which surprised me, didn't go super gonzo, but hit the goal of sub 75 and managed to be strong through the remainder of the 2mins.
