warmupcooldown, extended cooldown

Pole Mt. Shuffle. Another battle with 3rd@birkie, though now quite as epic as last year. Was in 4th off the gun with 3rd@birkie close behind, by about 3km was part of a group of 4 as two that were ahead fell back and and joined the group. Somewhere around the blackjack loop, lost those two and only 3rd@birkie remained. She passed me and tried to drop me on the upper UW hill on the second lap, but I held strong. We slowed down a fair bit after that and I followed her until the end of lower UW hill and stepped it up and dropped her. By then I was confident that the one surge she has was it. Cruised it in to the finish from there for 2nd place. She was ill recently so may have still been recovering. Note, pretty sure the results are off by a minute. I started my watch when the timers syncro-ed their watches which was exactly 1min prior to the start... my watch says 46:15, but given my past issues with getting correct times, who knows.
