O Sprint race (Run) 20:26 [5] 3.5 km (5:50 / km)

Started out steady, trying to get the flow. Worked for first 9 controls until I hit (or rather missed #10). Tough one in the long grass & couldn't see the mapped vegetation. Went back to the bus stop and tried again - major frustration & lost ~ 1min. Managed 11 & 12 OK, but overshot 13 and 14. Was an unlucky decision to take the obvious path to 13. Frustration with that one caused loss of focus to 14. Tried to keep it together, but was trying too hard to catch up lost time. Didn't see the direct route to 19 & missed my route to the right. Made a parallel error to 23 and then messed up the last control. Lost +3mins in total & lost 3rd place on that last control!
A great sprint experience, but too rusty

O Race race (Run) 55:04 [4] 5.0 km (11:01 / km) +170m 9:25 / km

GOC Middle. Not the best start - didn't see the huge cliff blocking my way down the path to the right. Struggled to read some of the detail and interpret the vegetation. The mapping is quite generalised so can be difficult to be sure of location. Also contours are fairly general so can't rely on more subtle shapes.
Was going reasonably well until a slow control to #11 and then a disaster to #12, which was difficult to hit from the top. Then spent a long time before realising there was an extra cliff & I had overshot mine.

Track race (Run ) 18:02 [4] 4.0 km (4:31 / km)

Paced Connor through the squad TT. He took 34s off his March TT, so nice reward for his regular running. He needs to build up experience with track running before he knows how hard he can push himself.
I carried on for another 1000m in a solid 3:31. Will take a bit of time before I can do 3 of those back to back
