O Sprint (Race) 32:30 [5] 4.3 km (7:33 / km) +70m 6:59 / km
shoes: Inov8 Xtalons

Better run this week. Decided to actually orienteer rather than run and hope. Good thing as the course was way more technical than last week. Still lots to work on, but was much happier than last week. Thanks to Pat for making a far greater contrast between the paths and open areas making for a far more readable map.

Trail Run (Run ) 30:00 [3] 3.0 km (10:00 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Xtalons

Went round the course in reverse to check on the boys. Couldn't find them. Found them at the finish. Both did extremely well. Very proud of them.

Run around the block a few times. First with Connor then spent more time on the road, which is a bit longer. Slight niggle in the right calf, but feeling pretty good.

Road Run (Run) 28:15 [3] 6.0 km (4:43 / km)
ahr:149 max:167 shoes: Asics Nimbus 15

Varied pace road run around the burbs. Pushed hard up the hill to the end of the 2nd k, then eased off before increasing the tempo. Surged during the last downhill km. Right achilles is feeling a bit sore - possible in response to a tight right ankle.
