Irish Champs Long
4th W21E. Mixed feelings about this. Lost about 15mins overall. 10 of which was on the second last control in some v tricky woods, which definitely lost me a medal, if not 2nd. V annoying, however other than that I was feeling good and running strong, and really good to see I can be mixing with these older girls, even on not such a good day.
Also crossed one of the most controversial boarder crossings, Alex, Colm, Ewan and Mikey watch out....

Irish Champs Sprint
4th W21E. V fun race. Very fast thinking and never really got into the scale enough to get my head around everything. But super fun to have a forest sprint. Wrong route choice.
Pretty excited to get the same time as one of my absolute hero's, Eadaoin McCavana. Its an honour to share this moment with someone so great.

Went on the treadmill just because I was quite unmotivated. 15mins v easy then 5mins progression to 3:55min/km pace

Session was a further 3,2,1 after that but cut it short due to Irish Champs this weekend. Feeling good at the start so was pushing the pace a lot but then died on the last 30s of no.4. V happy with it anyway as it was the first time I've enjoyed training like I did before I was injured.

Nice and easy 45 up the Dodder with a podcast. A bit bored of the campus lap so wanted to do something different. Also a good excuse to get me out the library and wake me up a bit.
