Ravinen 3, last leg after Julia, Ebba and Tilda
What an awesome event. Didn't really know what to expect, however this was far different.
Went out in ~190th and felt quite chilled setting off. Knew it was going to be tough terrain out there so attacked it, but also making sure I nailed the navigation, as this was the thing loosing people most time.
Went over my ankle coming down the slope to 3. Had it taped which definitely saved me big time. Was pretty sore right at the start but loosened off as I kept going, then got a bit sorer again towards the end. Dissapoining as it meant I couldn't push properly, either in the terrain or on the paths. However maybe going a bit slower was good for the navigation.
No time lose navigation wise except for 1 control (ran about 10m and just didn't see it, then took a bit to relocate and go back). Kept in good control and managed to focus on myself among the madness around me.
Kept roughly the same position through the first few radio controls until I hurt my ankle, then started slipping down a bit but finished 263.
Really happy on a whole (ankle could have been so much worse). Awesome experience and made to feel so at home in Team Ravinen. Great to be part of what ended up being such a good weekend for them with their guys team

Really easy around the accommodation near Joensuu with Hanna and Tone after the 9 hour bus journey...
Followed by a perfect swim :)))

Easy run from Hanna's around Täby, with a few strides thrown in at the end. Hard to work out where I was going on the large tourist map I had... Hot, even at this time
