Went down to BASOC-land to see Kat one last time before I leave the north tomorrow. Parked at Nethy and went for an adventure around the woods. Stopped off at Anna and Izzy's after 1.5km for a catch-up with them too. This was never going to be anything serious, so good to get out and have a bit of fun and laughs

Moravian Wednesday Night Training - Culbin
3k course, all in the area immediately around Welhill carpark. Tried to push quite hard and actually race. A couple of mistakes in the green bits, and tended to go for the track option wherever possible. Felt good anyway

Long run with Kirsty in Culbin
Parked at Welhill, to Binsness then pretty much just continued round the edge of Culbin to Shallowhead(Buckie Loch). Back in and via Hill99 on the way back. Really really nice route, but it's always what I cycle (athlough admittedly from home) so felt longer than it actually was. Tired legs after tough sessions on Monday and Tuesday

Kenyan Hills Intervals 30mins. Tough - physically, however I also always find this one particularly mentally tough. Anyway did 4 to the top tree, 4 to the one below, and 4 to the one below that just to break it up slightly, hardly any difference in distance/height. Good session, ran well, feeling good

MOR club champs - Roseisle
Mass-start handicapped odds and evens score. Hard to tell whether my tackticks were best or not as I had to leave before the results were calculated (mums home from hospital today). Felt pretty decent and technique seemed to be good

Harriers Intervals
Slept really badly last night, and been coughing up flem a lot, but thought I may as well go to this or it would have been another day not doing much and another night not sleeping.
WU with Anna - nice to have a catch up with her again
New Intervals I've never done before - start at the cricket green, straight up the double hills then into the woods and up the hill to the bottom path, along to the top of the avenue, then down the hill. Recovery back round the pavilion to the start. Did 6, but had a small break after no.4 to cough up some more.

Not feeling great but good to get out

Scottish 6-Days - Day 4
Completely clean the entire way round, just not much energy. Also quite rough terrain, and tricky sections, especially at the start, so going slow was maybe a good shout. Anyway pretty much just jogged/walked it all. Only had 3 counting days this year anyway

BELLADRUM!!! So so good!! Definitely the right decision to choose this over the last 2 days of the 6-days. Nice to be home and in my own bed at the end of it though. Time for a good rest
