Stunning day so headed down to the beach out the back of Hill99.
Just went easy, but stomach was a bit uncomfortable for the first hour or so, but settled down at the end. Was fine the pace I was going, but would have been pretty sore going any faster

Long WU, 10 mins effort, 4x (sandy hills up and down Hill99) [rec 1min], WD
Took a slightly wrong track on the 10, therefore ended a but further away from the hill than I would have liked, therefore had a longer jog between the 10 and the hills than ideal.
Then 4 hills - wanted to do about 10 minutes of effort and they took about 2:40 each. Starting and finishing at the track right at the bottom and along the sandy hill turning at the trig.
Dad joined for no.3 as he though he could race me - safe to say I showed him!

Felt my shins slightly yesterday which is what prompted this. Felt ok today, maybe 0.5/10 (may not have even noticed them if I didnt notice them yesterday). Will keep an eye out the rest of the week

Only decided I would do this last night, therefore yesterdays run was certainly felt. Legs felt tired and not much in them the whole way. Also went off a bit fast so kinda just had to hang on for the last 4km. Also my road was a track.
Anyway apart from all that complaining I'm actually quite happy. Was my 2nd fastest 5km time and im not in the shape I was then

Attackpoint said I did 14m climb, Garmin seemed to think I did 294m. Both ridiculous, so went with Dad's which was somewhere in the middle
