RUNNING 58:40 [3] 10.85 km (5:24 / km) +275m 4:48 / km
shoes: Inov8 roclite 290

Stirling castle- debated whether to log as orienteering or running as it was about half and half but then remembered I was running after Ali Pete or luke most off the time. Could keep up fine and feeling good physically but have no idea how they navigate at that pace. I have to slow down and stop to read what’s a black line and what isn’t

Really fun weekend enjoyed it a lot. Realised if I wanted to get better at sprints I’d have to do it a lot more (which is impossible unless I joined Clyde) and a lot slower. Can see that they’d be fun if you were really good at them but the only way I can race is if I leg it after pete and don’t look at my map. Gonna stick to hills this winter though- still do the JK sprint I think, not sure if there’s any point going to the BOF one

RUNNING 1:03:25 [3] 12.18 km (5:12 / km) +141m 4:55 / km
shoes: Inov8 roclite 290

Out and back from school -without my textbooks- before parents evening. Headed up past the hospital and onto a forestry track where there was a waterfall and a gorge which was cool. Lighter than usual as it was earlier and first time on the track so went quickly- might do more running through the forest if it gets snowy

Home off the bus- didn’t wear a coat because it was meant to be sunny but it rained the whole way. Sped up for a mile again (5.20)which is nice after sitting around all day
