Trail-O at North Ledge.
H1, 8.3km straight, 11.9km on trails.
I took pretty direct routes most of the time as a lot of it had been recently burnt so was nice and open. Felt pretty good and didn't push too hard so still felt good at the end and really enjoyed the run.
Nobody else did the H1.

GA's 5/8 surges after work. Didn't really think I was going to get this done because it was getting late and I wasn't feeling very motivated when I set out. Right hip was feeling a bit stiff but I felt as though I was moving along ok so I thought I would just try to keep the pace solid for as long as I could keep myself out there to get at least a bit of training benefit. Not feeling too bad when I got up the top so thought I might as well start out on the surges but without much difference between the efforts and recoveries. Getting pretty dark by halfway around but I was still feeling quite good so kept going to the end anyway. Felt ok at the end but the warm down felt a bit too long and fast again. Felt I had to keep pushing a bit because I was going to be later than I said I would so dinner was probably going to be ready before I got back. It was.
