weight:71kg (sick) (rest day)

Planned a longer run today but started to feel sick Saturday night so decided against getting up at 5am to run. Thought I might do a little run later but I gradually got worse and felt really sick Sunday night. If the kids have been feeling as bad as I am now then they have been coping remarkably well.

Rachel dragged me out of bed to go for a little jog in the dark with her before work. Started out very slowly and didn't catch Rachel until about 10 minutes in but actually felt better than yesterday. Knee started hurting again as soon as we started going downhill from Saw Ave but eased again when it flattened out.

Little jog around KP on the way to pick Amy up from school. Nothing stiff or sore to begin with but legs feeling completely dead. On the way back down the hill after about 25 minutes I started to get a bit sore below the right knee where I have a bit of a bruise. Misjudged the distance a bit so had to pick up the pace from there and it did start to feel better by the time I got back to school.
