Out along the beach, back along the cycle path for a while and then back to the beach. Took advantage of being allowed up to 150bpm now and did 1km a bit harder on the way back. Just managed to dip under 5 minutes but it was hard enough to make me realise I would struggle to maintain it for very much longer.

Started out with Rob & Lois on the cycle path towards Dunsborough then decided I should go a bit faster to try to get the heart rate up over 100 so rode off ahead. Turned around when I hit the bumpy path next to Bussell Hwy and went back into Busselton trying to stay mostly on the roads and increasing the effort a bit more. Pushed the last km about as hard as my puny legs would allow which was just enough to get under 2min and push the hr up to my 140 limit.

Running 32:59 [3] 6.01 km (5:29 / km)
shoes: Nike Free 3.0 V4

Out and back on the cycle path from Mandalay towards Dunsborough. Felt alright at the start but had to go slower and slower to keep the hr under 140. A little bit of flutter just before the turn and a few periods of feeling short of breath without any hr change on the way back. Still the fastest run I've done since the op I think.
