H3 at North Ledge. Heart rate a bit high at times on the way to the start and early on the course. Might have just been dodgy readings before I warmed up enough but I usually walked until it came down just in case.
Tried to keep the heart rate below 150 which was pretty hard to do even on the flatter bits because it is really heavy going through the bush. Found it a bit frustrating not being allowed to push because I quite enjoy running through that kind of terrain. Had a pretty clean run, just a bit of hesitation on some unmapped rocks between 5 and 6 and approaching the clearing at 15 where where I thought I should be able to see the flag but it was tucked in behind some bushes. Biggest time loss was probably the finish which I took ages to spot. A little frustrating to have to jog around so slowly, I enjoyed the run but would have enjoyed it a lot more if I was able to run hard.

Note

First time in about a week that my heart has been fine all afternoon.

Easy run in KP with new gadget. Calves a bit sore from wednesday's run but didn't bother me while running.

Rachel has arranged to run with Erin tonight so I was forced into doing the Rosalie run so that it wouldn't look as though Rachel was just slack.
Very easy pace down to UWA but I still somehow ended up on the front when turning off for the short loop which I've never done before.
Took it very easy up the hills and went from 20m off the front of the group to 20m off the back up the steep hill. Ran with Nick for a while after the regroup and ran a bit faster once it was all downhill.
Longest run since Easter and still feeling ok at the end so happy with that.

Chrome keeps snapping when I try to upload garmin data.
