Orienteering 1:06:24 [3] *** 9.7 km (6:51 / km) +300m 5:56 / km
shoes: Adidas Swoop Blue

H1 at Hill Park Dale. Longest run I've done for a couple of months so I didn't want to push it too hard. Cruised around pretty comfortably, no real mistakes but a couple of minor inefficiencies. Happy to get through the whole course without feeling any significant fatigue, even picked the pace up a little towards the end I think. Only a few brief heart flutters that didn't really cause me any problems.

Down to the Frosty Glen oval for a few laps of striding the back straight and jogging the rest. Legs felt good, heart not so much.

Not as cold as I expected setting out so I decided to brave the valleys of the 10k loop which was as cold as I expected. Ran pretty solidly, kind of a build run but with some easier sections when I felt the need. Heart had some issues but they seemed to be brief so didn't affect me too much. Last km was 3:51 which is the fastest I have run since the ablation but it felt a lot harder than I would like.

Rehab loop. Finally cracked 70kg, can't believe it took me so long.
Signed up for the City to Surf 12k, need to pick up the training a bit so I can keep up with Rachel.

shoes: Nike Free 3.0

Early morning run West along the beach cycle path, short out and back along the edge of Locke Nature Reserve and back along the highway with a short stop at the IGA for some breakfast supplies. Running reasonably hard towards the end, almost a tempo effort at times. Felt reasonably good and enjoyed the run.
