WA Sprint Champs at Swan Valley Adventure Centre.
Made a stupid mistake on 18 running straight past it towards the control on the track junction beyond. I think it was a combination of misreading the little buildings, the way a lot of people did, and trying to keep the pace up while getting tired on the long fast legs towards the end of the course. Looks as though I lost about 13 seconds there which was enough to allow Sten to push me out of the placings. Tyler Eves kept flying past me between controls through this section, making me feel very slow, but allowing me back past while he took his time leaving. I was pretty happy to be close to Sten and only a minute down on tRicky but a little disappointed with how slow I felt through that fast running section towards the end. Penny commented that I really looked as though I was labouring across the ovals and that is how it felt too. I think I still need at least a couple of months of regular intervals to have any chance of being competitive in sprints.

Tennis 1:20:00 [1]

Went down to the tennis club straight after we got home and had a good hit with Liam. He was a bit annoying early on with his moaning about how terrible his racquet was, after we went to tennis only in the morning and tried out lots of new racquets. Straight after his biggest moan about how every racquet he tried there was much better than his current racquet and he couldn't play with it now, he hit his next 3 or 4 shots for clean winners. Once he got over that we had some really good rallies but I think I probably shouldn't have played so hard because I'm pretty sore now.
