Orienteering race 52:00 [3] 7.0 km (7:26 / km)
(sick)

Easter Day 1 - Middle Distance
NOL and WRE (so no GPS)
Sick - 22nd
I had been in bed since 4pm Friday and with a fever, so I had no energy today.
I was shivering on the way to the start (almost 3kms). I jogged ok in the technical granite, but lost a lot of time on the hills and open paddocks. Probably 8-10 minutes in lack of strength.
At least I stayed in the overall classification, but that was about all.

Orienteering race 16:55 [5] **** 4.04 km (4:11 / km) +33m 4:02 / km

Easter Prologue
4th place behind only Julian, Simon and Shep. Out of about 70 or 80 in total if you include the M20E runners.
Brilliant run. Fast and flowing, with no mistakes.
Good speed and good map contact at all times.

I love campus/urban style sprint competitions!

The third one was a killer up the hill, but I was able to keep the time consistant with the first one.

MFR Monday Night Run, hosted by Reuben and Vanessa.
A large turnout, but most of them were pretty tardy getting started, despite warnings that it was getting dark.
By the time we reached the pipe bridge at Fairfield it was dark, and the run home was restricted to sealed paths.
I felt good after an easier Sunday than usual.

Kew Hills circuit - first half in the dark.
I strapped my ankle and it was fine.

No time today for a long run, but it suited me fine as I start my taper for Easter.
