More hills. In fact 17 of them this morning around Kew.
I ran into Tash on the way home and stopped for a couple of minutes for a chat.

Running 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Zoom Air Elite 07 #5

River run from the tan, up to Macrobertson's bridge and back. Cold enough for long sleeves today, and very windy, although at least it wasn't raining. My foot seems to be improving.

Running hills 47:00 [3]

Hills around Kew at 6am in the morning. Top of right foot still a little sore. I noticed it a little going up hills.

Full day conference again today at the Australian Institute of Management.

Running intervals 55:00 [4]

4 x 1000m at the tan in gale force winds.
Was supposed to be 5. I missed the first 2 due to a work meeting, but did an extra one at the end to make up to 4 intervals.
3:21, 3:09, 3:28; 3:21 up and down various hills and into various wind gusts.

Top of right foot was sore to start, but I forgot about it once the pain of the intervals set in.

Liggo was supposed to join me, but pulled out at the last minute.

Running 1:05:00 [2]

2 laps of the Botannical in reverse.
I felt a lot better than yesterday's run, so I think my body is getting used to running every day again.

Running 47:00 [2]

MFR monday night run from Dion's house with Jasmine, Suse, Nicola, Stuart and Clare. Slow start, but ramped it up a bit towards the end.

Top of my right foot was a little sore during the day, but not so much during running. I can't recall hurting it at any stage.

Running long 1:25:00 [2] 14.0 km (6:04 / km)
ahr:125 shoes: Nike Zoom Air Elite 07 #6

Long run from home to IKEA along the river. I felt quite ordinary on the run, and really struggled with lack of energy for the first hour. For the first 20 minutes my fingers were stinging due to the cold air down by the river. I probably should have worn gloves.
The last 20 minutes were quite good. I was able to run at a fast pace on the river bike paths near Bridge Road in Hawthorn and Richmond and get the heart rate up.
Finished up at IKEA for breakfast with Anne and the kids. $2 for a hot breakfast is a steal!

Note

We were never going to beat Essendon once Sheedy's sacking was announced. I didn't even waste $20 to go to Telstra Dome, deciding to watch Adelaide's season demise from the comfort of home instead.
