Orienteering 34:52 [1] *** 3.2 km (10:54 / km)
12c weight:120lbs shoes: Green and Red Nikes 11.5

Pretty easy course, most of the controls were near or on a trail. Although, there were a lot of hills. I got first overall by about four and a half minutes with Jordan in second.

Note

I want to mention that it feels good to be orienteering again, because of Winter Percussion I've missed the last 2 or 3 weeks. Next year I don't plan on doing Winter Percussion though because it consumes about 12 hours a week between practice and performances.

Control Pickup/Course Setting/Course Checking 10:00 [2] *** 1.0 km (10:00 / km)
1c weight:120lbs shoes: Green and Red Nikes 11.5

Control Pickup. Helping pick-up controls, I went with Skylar and Jordan and we split up to get four of them. I only got one though, I had to go down and up a steep hill to get that one. Jordan got another one and Skylar got the other two.

Gym Class 45:00 [3] 1.5 km (30:00 / km)
weight:120lbs shoes: Green and Red Nikes 11.5

We played doctor dodgeball and a couple eighth graders joined us making it more fun. Anyways we won the first game, and we would've won the second game but it was a tie because we ended early. We should've won though because we had them down to two people (and neither of them can catch) and we would have got them out but one of their own teammates, (that was out) through a ball high into the air towards them and they caught it. So their doctor got back in and it lasted long enough to be a tie.

Winter Percussion, He focused on battery (drums) alot.

Gym Class 1:00:00 [3] 2.0 km (30:00 / km)
weight:120lbs shoes: Green and Red Nikes 11.5

I played two games of basketball between gym and lunch, we had shortened classes because of ISTEP+. At lunch we started a game between Braydon and I against Hayden and Morgan and we continued it in gym class. After a while we decided to restart, we were beating them 18-6. During our new game which lasted about 15 minutes the score was 8-7. The reason we shut them down in the first game is because in general we're better (no offense to them) but also we played a zone defence with Braydon forcing them outside of the three, and if they drove or cut towards the goal I picked them up, since I'm about a head taller than all three of them.

Orienteering Practice 2:00:00 [2] 4.0 km (30:00 / km)
weight:120lbs shoes: Green and Red Nikes 11.5

We did a 30 minute map correction thing, we had to add some trails, that was about it. Also my ankle hurt for a little bit.
After that we played Capture the Flag it was Jamie, Alex, and Luke V.S. Eric,Jordan, Priscilla, Nate, and I. Or as Luke and Jamie called it Quality V.S. Quantity. In the first round I used the out of bounds rule to make Jamie super mad, then I met up with Jordan and we abused it and while we were near there flag Jamie was arguing against me about out of bounds rule which he thought was stupid, (even though they were OK with it before) and Jordan grabbed the flag and took off. It was HILARIOUS!
In the second game they voted to get rid of the rule and Mike joined there team so we had the advantage of one person. Anyways it was Jamie, Alex, and Luke constantly attacking our flag (and failing) while everyone defended it except Nate who was going after their flag. But basically Nate and Mike were in a stalemate until Mike noticed it was 6 and we had to call it quits.
