Compass practice. Except there were fences all over the place, so half the legs were completely impossible. Also it SNOWED last night and was cold and windy, so this was very much a slog
Thinking about trials at West Point this weekend and I'm wishing I was there. But I made the decision not to go, and it's pointless to have regrets at this point. Here's to the future.

BIG ride up to Hyalite with Tyra! We got off to a late start, plan was to hike Mt Blackmore, but weather looked iffy and it was too hard to get up at 5, so we set off anyways and figured we'd see how far we got. Last 4 miles were super slushy and difficult to ride, especially uphill

FINALLY made it to the reservoir and the trail was still snow with skin tracks, so no way were we climbing a peak today. Hiked to Blackmore Lake, found a nice rock to sit on, and called it a day

5k fundraiser by MSU's Engineers Without Borders. Plan was just to have fun, but the beginning was almost immediately uphill, and me being the idiot I am felt great and decided to turn on the jets and sprint up the hill. Passed a ton of people, but 2 minutes in I DIED. My second k was 5:17, so 8:30/mile hahaha, everyone I passed and more was passing me now. Anyway once we turned back down the hill I picked it up a bit and had a good ol' time admiring the views and yelling at Tyra ahead of me to run faster

4 min AMRAP: 6 thrusters, 8 burpees, 10 front row. Got through 3 full sets plus thrusters of 4th set.
