Snow Joke Half Marathon!
I didn't mean to run this fast- I didn't even have a plan and figured I'd just go out typical long run pace (7:40-8/mile) and maybe pick it up after 8 miles, but my 2 running buddies and I hit 7 flat the first 2 miles, tried to slow down, but somehow kept hitting just above 7 for the first 8 miles. Somewhere between miles 8-9 I got tired and slowed down a bit. Somewhere between 9-10 I started getting the usual waves of stomach pain which also slowed me down, but otherwise this was great fun and I'm excited for March 16 when I'll actually race a half!

quick easy ski with Aly on the softball field loop! Didn't expect to have any time for physical activity today, but lab got out an hour early and Aly's racing the Birkie this weekend, so I tagged along while she did a final shakeout ski.
