Snow Joke Half Marathon!
I didn't mean to run this fast- I didn't even have a plan and figured I'd just go out typical long run pace (7:40-8/mile) and maybe pick it up after 8 miles, but my 2 running buddies and I hit 7 flat the first 2 miles, tried to slow down, but somehow kept hitting just above 7 for the first 8 miles. Somewhere between miles 8-9 I got tired and slowed down a bit. Somewhere between 9-10 I started getting the usual waves of stomach pain which also slowed me down, but otherwise this was great fun and I'm excited for March 16 when I'll actually race a half!
