Honestly I should look up the elevation gain of this run because on the way out it basically goes straight uphill through Licorice Fern for 2-2.5 miles. I made a bad decision to go with my coach and 4 fast people that had been training all week and ended up by myself in the heat most of the run.

28 minutes of fast with easy jog in between. We did a "trust your teammate" exercise where each girl had a slip of paper with an on time and rest time and led while the other 3 followed and trusted the pace.
