didnt notice the fence on the way to #1 which cost me some time. was okay with my route to #3 but just too hesitant to execute it well (same with the whole course really). Started to click near the end and started moving faster and being cleaner but as soon as i had to go uphill to #10 i bonked basically, needed a gel by #3
Still I've done surprisingly well this weekend so far, obviously everyone is technically quite rusty but ive only been getting into running properly again in the last month really so nice to not be falling too far behind

all the vans/cars between me and the alley after #1 decided to set off as i got there which was a bit distracting and i nearly failed to find it. mostly just a case of forgetting it was a race cos i havent done one in so long, no real mistakes
