a muddy half marathon distance- actually trying for a sub 2 once i realised it was possible.had tried to plan the driest route but ended up covered in mud anyway and struggling in flats where it was muddiest. perfect weather though, really lovely run got a 1:59:18 after a stupid 20th and 21st km zoom where i was going faster than the time trial lol

Great Whernside with dad. Slower for him and waited for him a couple times going up. Navigating the icy bogs was tricky and dad cut his shin on some ice. Sun out for most of it though. Really enjoyable run but really feeling that inside of my calf :(

as part of my physio 'rehab' im going to be doing like a billion calf raises which i wont be logging but just know they're happening, and im gonna have calves wider than my head
