Running warm up/down 6:41 [2] 0.9 km (7:26 / km)
shoes: VJ supra

Orienteering race 58:14 [3] 5.2 km (11:12 / km) +75m 10:27 / km

Ran 5.2 for a 3.4k course even though i went pretty much straight to most. went over the rocky hill to #1 instead of the obvious round the track so lost a couple minutes. 2 and 3 were good, #4 was very bad. Very bad. All I really know is I was very far right. I think I did know where I was at one point but it went wrong again so tried going back to where I last knew where I was but I didn't have a clue so I asked someone and it turned out I was just a little right of the line. I found it after 20 minutes of struggle. Should've been more than 10 mins faster today considering the area was easier, it was a k shorter and it was 1:10000 which I'm used to.

Hemfosa-dubbeln race
Went the wrong way to #1 because i went off line on another hill and ended up at the marsh having to run across it, but was nice running. #2 was shocking, mostly due to the 1:15000 and the terrain i wasn't used to. Had to ask Eilidh where we were and the scale still confused me. Found Anika at 3 who'd taken the wrong map so was doing our course. Ran with her #3 to #7, but didnt really see her after that, except halfway to 8 I saw her stop and was looking, which made me a bit hesitant because i thought it was further. That made me start looking after her but early, Hit it fine once I'd actually started going further. Ran past #10 (behind a biulder) but did work it out and came back fairly quick considering the vagueness. Second half was much better, definitely took some getting used to. I did finish the course though and beat Anika so not too unhappy.

shoes: Inov8

Have to say I didn't enjoy it as much as I was led to believe I would. Went running with mum at timble (ridiculously slowly), went on the moor and had to stop running to cross the bogs in the path that were basically ponds. Was a bit better nearer to the top, but then we couldn't find the path back on our circular route and ended up in waist deep heather. We ran when the heather got a bit lower so ended up with a terrain run. Tried going across the woods but ended up in head high bracken. Eventually made it out onto a path. Legs were destroyed by the burnt spiky heather since I was in shorts

Running 42:01 [3] 6.78 km (6:12 / km) +137m 5:38 / km
shoes: Nike Pegasus 33 shield

Saw a guy looking like he was about to dig through a random big pile of branches off the path in the woods, with his pregnant wife waiting at the top. So, yeah good luck to them on recovering the body they buried.
Also pretty sure I'm immune to nettles now.
