Was meant to be tempo with dad but I just couldn't run. Breathing was weird and I couldn't make my body move. 2nd try was better but I went much slower, but at least I didn't die.

Had my new shoes which were really comfy and I really love em

Had a pretty good race to be 3 mins behind Eilidh who was 1st, even though I was actually 6th. Had fast splits for the long legs which I'm happy about (average for the track run though). Made a stupid mistake on the 2nd last control because I mentally skipped a field when reading the map so went right on the first field, which was steepish uphill, then had to go all the way back down to get into the next field to go right, which was downhill there. Annoyed because I lost a couple mins there just from that stupid thing and the rest of my run was basically clean.

Warwick uni sprint
Couldn't get my legs moving anywhere near fast enough. Frustrating since I thought I was getting a bit faster. Made one silly 40s+ mistake where I started heading round a building to my control then looked at my map and read #12 instead of #6 so went back round the building, got to it, realized it was the wrong control and had to go right round again. Beat a couple of 18s though and wasn't too far down on the majority of the 16s

CSC heat- Cringle moor
Had a decent, clean run on short green. Got a bit too hot though out in the sun. About a k done along a slope where everyone a the event had the same controls along one elephant rack which was pretty rubbish and I had 2 legs all the way along a track, but apart from that it was a decent area. Won the course by about 3 mins. Aire didn't win though so luckily don't have to go all the way down to devon.

Tarn Hows
More similar to January courses so did a loop backwards to make it a bit different. Tracks on top were half a foot deep mud and you'd step on them thinking they were solid then just sink.
Right shoe coming apart. Left shoe is barely holding it together at all. Defo need new ones

Some great views of the mountains. V nice woods
Just after halfway round the end of my hair whipped my eye and it was so bloody painful and my eye started watering and couldn't see for 10 secs.

Really boggy. Focused on a good plan, but some legs were v similar to the talent squad weekend and I remembered the area really well.

Me and Louise were tired so we did a talk-o map memory. We actually did jog most of it but I think I missed a few legs on my watch and possibly left it going when we stopped for a wee since the course distance is more than my garmin recorded. Also it was awful terrain

Was bored so did a bit of a workout. Mostly core. I didn't get that tired but my legs did after about 8 x 30s sets of squats.
