Note

Out and about ready to start running full again! After a set of almost two hours with the best physiotherapist in Finland(physio for men's national basketball, women's national rythmic gymnast's...) we discovered that the ultimate reason causing the pain in my knee is the military boots I'm wearing. Even if I have the correct size, my foot is so narrow that it moves too much inside the boot. That causes my whole leg muscles to stay a bit flexed all the time. Then that squeezes my nerves from ankle all the way up to my hip which then eventually causes the pain in my knee. During the few hours I spent at his office, he opened my nerves, my ankle and my hip so that I can use the full range of my step. He adviced to run full or close to full speed to get my legs used to the full circle of a running step and keep it 'open'. Also, a bit of tennis ball and elastic band should help. Excited!
