Orienteering race (Writtle Forest Blue) 57:57 [5] *** 7.8 km (7:26 / km) +100m 6:59 / km
ahr:161 max:170

Lovely area & a really enjoyable course which lent itself to fantastic simplification practice & compass work. It was kind of like 2 middle distance courses joined together - my perfect course! I caught Dave about half way & then he pushed me from there till the end. I don't usually push that hard tbh. Lost 1min on #25 in the pits bc I was too far south after a poor exit from #24, & probably lost about 30s on my route to #24 as well. Didn't feel as bad as I feared I might so I think I am fairly well recovered now from Mallorca. Good timing :-)

Cycling (Spin bike) 1:05:00 [3]

After feeling shabby yesterday decided against PRun this morning, & wasn't sure how my body would respond spinning but gave it a try. It was fine and I felt better for it afterwards.

Cycling 1:14:20 [3] 30.91 km (2:24 / km) +383m 2:16 / km
ahr:129 max:146

Short easy loop today, didn't push. Still felt crap but probably marginally better than yesterday and the bike is so much more forgiving than running. Outer quads fatigued instantly if I tried to stand up, however I finished feeling better than when I started so it was the right distance/duration. Unfortunately my riding position on my old bike today felt all wrong, so it will need changes. Darn my new bike - it has spoiled me!!

Running 25:10 [2] 4.0 km (6:18 / km) +50m 5:55 / km
ahr:137 max:147

Felt crap, everything hurt & could barely breathe. Cut the planned 40mins short. Lovely day today at least.
