Finally got to Halden :) had to get out and do some exercise after so much sitting, jogged down to town then back up - felt ok

Then started the long slog of travel to Europe!

Run hills 25:18 [5] 3.93 km (6:26 / km)

4x hard up red hill and easy down the other side - thought I better spend my last run in Canberra for a while with a good view ;) one side was 3:32/3:31 and one was 2:15/2:17

Absolute shocker - definitely cracked under the pressure of starting first with everyone chasing me. got the first one well, then thought I had a good line to the second one (but didn't) so when I didn't find it I didn't exactly know what to do; was fairly sure I was too high, when in fact I had was too low. Zoe caught me there and was super annoyed at myself so from then on it was just a downwards spiral of angry running and lots of mistakes everywhere and not being able to push. majorly embarrassing.

Easter long - not such a good day today. Lost heaps of time taking a wide route to #1 (probs 2mins) and the next few controls after that I was very slow and uncertain once I got slow. After that it wasn't too bad, though I obvs was't pushing hard enough running down the creek/ when I could and a couple of messy bits (eg. starting to go up the wrong hill to 7 and being too slow/cautious on some later controls). Didn't realise I lost as much time as I did - eg. having a red leg to 4 on winsplits when i thought I went straight there with no trouble and an ok pace :/
