Orienteering 34:11 [3] 3.85 km (8:53 / km)

Training weekend and Buckenderra which was super fun and super helpful!!!!

Started off with a control pick which was good, just ran pretty easy and had to stop a fair few times because lots of controls were missing or in the wrong spot - there was lots of us somewhat running near each other though, so we just decided that we were in the right spot. Also completed a legendary first ever fence jump at the end - almost died, but didn't!

Orienteering 27:22 [3] 3.65 km (7:30 / km)

Long leg planning course. Alternated between short and long legs so that you had to olan the long one quickly before finishing the short one. Again took it easy because I didn't want to burn out too quick, but then found myself losing concentration a couple of times, though still didn't make many mistakes. Could have gone the longer option too because It really didn't take that long so I was standing around at the end waiting for the rest of the group to get back.

Orienteering 1:07:15 [3] 6.58 km (10:13 / km)

Middle course (the "mountain crusher" was its name) for the arvo exercise. Defs ate to much at lunch and ran too soon though because I felt quite ill going to the first few controls. Took it easy but I still didn't feel great so walked to 5, then ran from there and I was fine, but not pushing it. Unfortunately then I majorly stuffed up 8, went to the wrong control, checked it and didn't register that it wasn't mine but kept going then it finally clicked when everything after that didn't match up. From that control just took a moment for myself and continued on then was fine to the finish - just not fast on the whole thing at all.

Orienteering 38:46 [3] 4.76 km (8:09 / km)

NIGHT-O MASS START!!!!! sooooo much fun :D did the middle course length but all the courses had common controls and loops so there was always lots of people around which gave it a great atmosphere and meant it wasn't at all scary. Funnily enough this was probably my best and fastest orienteering all day!! after dinner I wasn't sure how I would go running again but I had lots of energy once I got out there. Only really stuffed up the second last one because it didn't reflect so I went straight past even after stopping at the rocks...so Katie and mark caught me and mark beat me to the finish :/ didn't matter though because it was still heaps of fun :)

Was going to do my second strength but was just too tired, needed a rest and wanted to be able to do more training on the weekend so gave it a miss

O intervals with a diminished group at black mountain. Felt awful starting off, legs were sore/tired and the rest of me just didn't want to move, but it got better as the intervals went on - still none were fast though. Typical me having zero speed once I get in the bush, also just needed to go straighter on everything pretty much. Fun though and good to be in terrain

O at lake gininderra which was not particularly interesting and I felt quite slow (though didn't end up being that slow). Took the training map which was close to completely blank which slowed me down in places when I didn't know if I had gone far enough and had nothing on the map to tell me if I had. Also was a slog through the long grass which wasn't particularly enjoyable.

Ints w the crew at the lake
7x 70/20s the 5x 70/20s which was good
probs could have gone even harder but was really trying to keep a pace that I could do consistently

split between 5mins with the group and just over 15 getting dropped that far away from home on route to zoes music lesson

At the library all arvo so not much time to run but got a short easy one in which was quite pleasant. Not sore after strength for the first time in weeks so that was nice. garmin didn't get the satellite though so I think the distance it said was quite dodgy...it said over 4k but I didn't think it would have even been 4k at all so don't know.

Long run in the sun but wasn't even to hot yyyaayyyyy!!! Basically the same as last week but an extra loop over the other side of Kitchener at the end. Randomly felt really good running today, way better than expected and this felt easier than last weeks which was shorter so that was good :)
