Running warm up/down 10:00 [1] 1.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Did not feel good during warmup process at all. I could barely move.
Running race (XC 5K) 20:00 [5] 5.0 km (4:00 / km)
shoes: Adidas adiPRENE (Second)
Coming into race day I did not have any excuses why I could not have a good race - had enough rest, no major pains. I did not get to buy new XC Spikes, so, that was the only downside I was aware of. However I used these spikes before, so, it should be wash.
First mile was fastest in the series - 5:45.
Going up hills I tried not to loose too many possitions however I lost about 3 again. I worked hard uphill section overall.
I ran "A OK" in the wood section. I did make a mistake by letting guy to pass me just few feet before hitting wood section. Once I hit trails I could have go faster but at the beginning trail was narrow and not much of opportunity to pass him.
I was still making good time till about half mile to go where I went totally flat. I entered lagoon just about at top of 19 minutes and I thought it could still be personal best. However I crossed finish line at 20 minutes flat.
I felt disapointed after the race even it was 2nd best time I posted in the series. I guess I am not where I wanted to be yet.

I was wondering if forced taper was contra-productive for me. Seems like I need to run for few miles every day.
Aqua 1 [1]
Actual time spent in whirlpool - 15 mins, 15 min rest, another 15 minutes. I read an article about Alan Webb's latest records. One of them was 80 pushups in the row. He was hoping for 100. That's impressive even considering that he is probably about half of my weight.
