Rode out to bridgewater to pick up a package. Was working against a pretty steady headwind most of the way and I was forced to simmer in the afternoon heat (4C). Started raining on the way back and I thought I was safe off the bridgewater bridge then my front wheel slipped into a train track rut and tummy went tumbling on to the road - luckily the woman behind me was on the ball and managed to screech to a halt about a metre away! bent the left handle bar in a fair way which is bloody annoying.
