Orienteering race (AOS 13 or something) 1:01:44 [4] **** 10.85 km (5:41 / km) +58m 5:32 / km
spiked:17/18c shoes: Icebug Acceleritas4

Still felt pretty meh and ran slow. Started fast but then felt pretty crap pretty quick. Slowed down a lot but still kept going. Made one bad mistake - bad direction out of 5 and had no focus so kept going right up to road - ran extra 400m and lost 2 minutes. Otherwise just one small route choice mistake and the rest all good.

Running long (Long Run) 56:28 [3] 12.48 km (4:31 / km) +321m 4:01 / km
shoes: Saucony Guide 8

Flu finally almost gone after 3 and a half weeks, time to restart training. Long easyish run, ran it slightly faster than normal to try push myself a bit more mentally to keep running. Also chose a slightly steeper route than normal.

Orienteering (Middle + Long training) 1:06:53 [3] ***** 6.57 km (10:11 / km) +317m 8:12 / km
spiked:22/26c shoes: Icebug Acceleritas4

Supposed to be a middle + long training in beautiful hills ended up cutting off the last 3km cos of time. First part was in some beautiful low vis pine and super open native bush with very dense areas (which kept finding). Contours were great despite the map being ancient however the vegetation wasnt which screwed me up a bit. The area south of Restal Road is really great though - its a shame we havent done any events in there in a long time! Still very physical though but much nicer than the area we normally use.

Running warm up/down (Run in/out) 11:46 [2] 2.37 km (4:58 / km) +50m 4:29 / km

Running (Easy 'short' run) 36:14 [3] 7.9 km (4:35 / km) +157m 4:10 / km
shoes: Saucony Guide 8

Meant to be longer but got stomach pains and turned back. No waitak run today, just an easy run around streets

Running (Easy (short) Run) 32:30 [2] 7.25 km (4:29 / km) +130m 4:07 / km
shoes: Saucony Guide 8

Short run after injuring my foot arch, testing stability seems to have recovered quickly. Hopefully will be alright for weekend, was hoping to get out in the Waitaks but that looks unlikely now.
