Note

Went to the doctor today because of my shoulder. Been sore on and off since new years. Nerve type pain, sometimes barely there and sometimes can't sleep without a painkiller.

Doctor didn't really do much. Then went to get an xray and an ultrasound in the afternoon. I'll book another doctor appointment for next week to hear if there was anything on them but the doctor doing the ultrasound already said he couldn't see anything special. Apparently shoulders can sometimes just be tricky and be sore for a while without a reason. Nice, exactly what I wanted to hear..!!

Also my bike tyre broke when cycling to the doctors, not a great day so!

HS Jukola-Venla-koulu, last theory lesson + training (three more Iltarastit to go, I wont be able to go to two of them though)

We did mass start training, map without smaller trails. Three short intervals, first and second one forked. For the first one we all started at the same time, simulating the first leg at Jukola (about 1500 people less though). Then for the second and third one we started in smaller groups (simulating middle legs and then third one simulating also last part of the last leg with no forking)

Noticed again I was stronger technically, able to pick better routechoices and find the controls faster. Physically just not strong enough and lost a lot of time on the trails when everyone else ran faster. Marianne is stronger physically but on the last loop it was funny to notice I almost closed gap at each control with a better route choice and then she ran faster on the traila again until I caught her again etc. She also remarked I'm stronger than her in terrain and on the small paths, nice!!
