Orienteering race (Powder Mills Park - Red) 1:25:48 [5] *** 5.8 km (14:48 / km)
spiked:9/15c weight:137lbs shoes: North Face Trail Shoes

It got up to 97 in Fairport today...Powder Mills Park isn't that far away. I should get a 5 minute advertising credit. From 6 to 7, I stopped and talked to 2 different groups about orienteering. I gave a lengthy description to a dad and his 2 young kids, and a hello and quick description to a friend and her companion.

Minor issues finding with a few controls, but nothing more than a few minutes (1,3,4,7,9,13).

Note

Another long day at the track. 11 hours, including the commute to UB. We had to leave so early that I couldn't make it to the Bushnell's Basin Bunch run this morning. Spent an hour or so raking the jumping pit as needed in the 90 degree heat.
