Orienteering :o. First totally legit O event since MARCH! Syd and I decided to go together and just have a good time. Didnt expect anything too challenging navigation wise, and really werent even pushing to win (we may have, several people very close behind though). Planned a course to clear it, but werent sure if it was doable, but there were some obvious decisions points. Cleared the W side of the lake, and made the decision to cut 3 low density points in the NE. Made our way back to the start, and decided we didnt have time to do the full final loop either, so cut three more. Finished with a few minutes to spare, but I dont know that it was enough to get anything more. Most importantly, we had a fantastic time in the woods together finding some flags :).

29/35 controls, 800/1020 points.

Bundled because I thought it would be chilly, but the sun was out and it was quite pleasant. Another new section of trail opened so now there is just 1 block on the busy road, which I expect will be bypassed next summer. They made so much progress this summer!
