Sometimes the Australian Championships Carnival approaches and you have that happy feeling that comes from a good preparation, suitable fitness, and an interest in how best to taper. This isn't one of those years. First run of any form for at least three weeks. And a very short one at that. I think I will be walking much of the long course.
