Loddon River to Lake Vera. There we discovered that we could not continue to camp at Lake Tahune due to hut rebuilding. Rest afternoon and a big day walk the following day.

Flew out in the morning to Hobart and by the evening we were camped by the Loddon River in clouds of mozzies. The airline baggae staff had labelled my pack "Heavy lift- assistance required". I left the label on for the walk.

Ten ascents and descents of honeysuckle. Average ascent was 1.39.
Finding the heart rate monitor on the new watch very convenient. I gave up on the strap-on model years ago.

Back, core and achilles 30:00 [1]

Back is still painful. It takes some time to get movement. Doubling the back component of the routine.

7 AM

Walking 1:15:00 [1] 5.0 km (15:00 / km)

Good for the back. Not for the handicap.
10 AM

Walking 2:00:00 [1] 8.0 km (15:00 / km)

More mapping at Argyle. The area is covered. From here on its corrections and tweaking.

Running 27:32 [3] 4.58 km (6:01 / km) +58m 5:39 / km
shoes: Salamon Speedcross 4 blue

Included two laps of the test circuit. The second was respectable... 11.19. My back is very sore at the moment. Took two kilometres for it to loosen from movement and the circulation of ibuprofen.
