7 AM

Walking (Golf (Flog)) 3:00:00 [3] 10.0 km (18:00 / km)

What was planned as 9 holes became 18. Didn't anticipate where this would lead.
1 PM

Real Orienteering race (Kangaroo Gully) 53:59 [4] 6.25 km (8:38 / km) +200m 7:27 / km
shoes: Kayana White/green

Tried to follow the red line and keep running. Pretty much succeeded, though the garmin trace has some holes so it doesn't prove my claims. Seems the satellites were missing today. Was running in packs a couple of times, and initially fell behind, but eventually I drew away, which surprised me. Seems others were less consistent.
3 PM

Walking 2:00:00 [3] 5.0 km (24:00 / km)
shoes: Kayana White/green

Late call to check control sites for next weeks event. My right foot was really feeling it due to the unplanned 20+ kilometers today. Teach me to do 918 holes. Oops 18.

Walking 2:40:00 [1] 14.0 km (11:26 / km)

Spent 4 hours mapping the vague terrain on Lockwood Range. Well not on the range. I think this will rival Mozzie Creek for noodle nominations.

MTB (Not O) 1:15:00 [3]

Riding the Spring Gully MTB track out of curiosity. Will go back with a GPS and log it. No-one can ever again tell me orienteering permits should be refused because orienteering damages the forest. I hope their aspirations do not head further afield.
