Running 21:00 [4] 3.3 km (6:22 / km) +15m 6:13 / km
shoes: New Balance 620s

One Crusoe lap. It qualifies as flat and not as hard as bitumen. These are desirable qualities whilst getting back towards uninjured. It was a nice day for another lap... but... not advisable. The water is warming though. Next week or two and It will be a longer run and a swim.

Running 24:30 [3] 4.2 km (5:50 / km) +30m 5:38 / km

A little bit further than yesterday without any reappearance of symptoms. Might try half an hour tomorrow.
This time the problem is improving much faster than previous lapses. I suspect the strapping I am using is making a real difference.

Note
(injured)

Knee pain is worse. This is the third occurrence of this injury in the last 18 months. The injury log tells me this isn't the first time this injury has reappeared soon after a longer than usual run. Maybe I am not up for two hour events. Log also tells me it will take a month to recover.

I used to joke about fitness be the occasional; interruption between injuries. Decided to test it out and counted all my injury days on my injury log. The total was 460 in a period of about 2400 days. That is one in five. I suppose I shouldn't complain, but it feels more regular than that.
