Note

Knee feeling a little tender at the moment. It is whispering to me "Rest day tomorrow". That wasn't the plan but it makes sense. I am in Melbourne so getting back for the delayed F and F wasn't going to be easy anyway.

Crusoe-Marne-No 7. But wimped on the long way round Crusoe on the way back. Was starting to trip and fall a bit and had a bit more exercise to come. Lost the GPS on one of the falls. Time a guess.

Unplanned rest day. Tradesman appointment at 7.45 became tradesman time... arrived late. After, discovered flat tire on bike. No time to fix and get to work. Pumped it up, but have no spare so wasn't confident it would be rideable for home trip. Need to get home quickly. Music tonight in Malmsbury. Oh well, probably could do with a true rest day. Last exercise free day was 8 January.

Seems I am now a Level 3 Event Advisor. Jymbo is the one who should have been first to this level in Bendigo, but he doesn't seem interested in complying with seminar attendance requirements. He could probably run such a seminar himself. We will all have to twist his arm.

Even better news. Tonight Evan brought round processed LIDAR data for the next generation of local orienteering maps. Unlike last visit, importing into OCAD was simple. We both agreed 50 cm contours is a little too much of a good thing. Next version will be 2.5m and a bit more smoothed. The immediate target is Easter next year. This was Evs first successful attempt at extracting georeferenced contours for OCAD.

Extended Skraplands run with the setting sun. Pleasant running in temperatures cooler than the last two weeks, but well warmer than Lithuania at the moment. I have trouble imagining a range of -20 to -30.
