Running 40:00 [3] 6.33 km (6:19 / km) +170m 5:34 / km
shoes: Asic Gel-Torano

Mt Lofty from Wittens reserve. The river is much clearer than when I used to kayak it, but the hill is choked with scrub now, where once it was just grass. Must admit, the water was flowing very nicely for the middle of Feb, and if I had a kayak it would have been very tempting. Not even sure where my old Prion resides now, or whether it has been sent to the tip by someone. Maybe once day.

Piecing together a gold and wasteland terrain run. Pretty close now. McKenzie - wasteland to Chum - Malple - old reserve - Inglewood St - Long Gully bike track - side track - old mining land up to the open poppet head - Happy Valley road crossed - Victoria Hill circuit inside fence - Petard St - Mickey Mouse Hill (needs a bit of sorting to find a way through) Honeysuckle. Thats 15 minutes on roads and footpaths and 26 minutes off road in reserves etc.

Spent last night putting together a concept for an orienteering carnival. Ideas buzzing. Kept thinking about it all night so didn't sleep. Got up this morning and scribbled down two more pages. Last time i was like this i was writing a book. So got up early to run with Julie. If I hadn't fallen asleep by 6.15, what point keeping trying. Did the full MacKenzie-Rowan circuit to keep up with the Jone's.
