Running warm up/down 13:05 [1] 1.03 km (12:39 / km) +56m 9:58 / km

Orienteering 1:27:19 [3] 8.89 km (9:50 / km) +502m 7:40 / km

Sumas Mountain. To be honest, pretty bad race. Mostly just got lucky finding controls in the open forest. Didn't keep in good contact with the map, espescially in the flatter more open part around 8,9,10. Also mistakes on 1, and the second last control.

Note
(rest day)

Finishing up work for the spring, figuring out whether I can afford COCs and easterns, and figuring out courses for next year.

Orienteering 1:39:10 intensity: (1:00:00 @0) + (39:10 @1) 7.09 km (13:59 / km) +194m 12:18 / km

Setting out controls: mostly walking, some running (the last chunk naturally, I was almost late!)
7 PM

Running 40:00 intensity: (15:00 @0) + (25:00 @1)

Picking up controls: some walking, mostly running.

Mapping 5:02:32 intensity: (3:32:32 @0) + (1:30:00 @1) 17.76 km (17:02 / km) +663m 14:21 / km

Out in mount dufferin in the heat. Got another good chunk of the map fieldchecked, now back to the computer to draft up the last chunk and check it. Probably 3 more full days on this complete re-map to be done in late July or August.
3 PM

Skiing - Classic 4:35 intensity: (3:32 @1) + (1:03 @5) 0.85 km (5:22 / km) +6m 5:12 / km

Stopped at the TRU track just for fun cause I'd never run on a track or even touched one before. With pretty much no warm-up ran 400, in 1:03. No idea how good that is (I could feel that with a proper warm-up I could be a lot faster...) but an interesting benchmark for the future.

Orienteering 31:36 [3] 6.91 km (4:35 / km) +83m 4:19 / km

Started going the wrong way on the loop across the train tracks, lots 2.5 minutes, no other major mistakes, 1 of the downtown controls I didn't have a good picture in my head and lost like 4 seconds, and then I lost a bit at the back of the Hospital where the map I made is aweful (missing 1 of the 2 garden sheds the control was on...).
