Running 1:06:56 [1] 11.63 km (5:45 / km) +165m 5:22 / km

Pretty easy run with a slightly faster section in the middle down KC. Started up at Larch Hills with Dad and Lillian (who was on a bike) and went up Raven's Ridge, then down Coffeetime, I kept runninig out Lumpy Road past KC for about 1km, somebody has been cutting all the logs out, need to see if I can make a loop out of that trail since it is in good shape. Came back and down KC, and then PPT2.

Biking 1:35:27 [1] 18.0 km (5:18 / km) +586m 4:34 / km

Easy ride out to south canoe, up climb and troll bridge, than road to the tower and up flipside followed by lumpy road. Down KC, and then flying nun. Been a long time since I was on the bike, but had fun and needed to let the running muscles have a bit of a break.

Paddling 52:13 [1] 4.97 km (10:31 / km) +4m 10:28 / km

Easy paddle from Canoe Beach to Raven with the ski team. According to my GPS I climbed 4.4 meters while kayaking.

Used Phil's boat today, so got a pretty good workout in.

Running 45:40 [1] 5.94 km (7:41 / km) +303m 6:08 / km

Easy run with the ski team back from Raven to Canoe Beach.

Running 1:24:28 [1] 13.42 km (6:18 / km) +571m 5:11 / km

Long run in South Canoe. Got my new Inov8 shoes today, a pair of x-talon 212s and a pair or inov8 road running shoes too. Wore the talons today (the non-spiked version of the shoes that I already had for the winter), and loved them. Way lighter than all my Salomon shoes, closer to the ground, felt like I could feel the trail a lot better.

Happy with the run today, was getting a little tired, but mostly just hungry by the end.

On another note, I weighed myself today, and it is a whopping 148 pounds, about 10 more than the last time I weighed myself about 3 months ago. In the same time, I have grown over an inch as well, so I guess it is kind of expected.

Orienteering 1:00:00 [1]

Setting out controls for Mount Dufferin. Super low turnout, but it was lilke 33 degrees with mosquitoes... only 1 week left.

Running 40:00 [1]

Picking up controls after Mount Dufferin.

Mapping 4:00:00 intensity: (3:15:00 @0) + (45:00 @1)

Mapping out in Mount Dufferin. Computer drawing seems pretty good, contours needed a bit of tweaking in a few spots, but way better than the old map.

Orienteering 50:00 [1]

Setting out controls for Pileated Woods.

Running 30:00 [1]

Running around during the event and picking up controls.

Good turnout, somewhere around 35 people, and lots of fun and a bunch of newcomers who will hopefully be back. First homeschooled kid (and first from King's) who both really enjoyed it, nailed the beginner course and went and did the FARSTA as well (missed the mass start by 10 minutes since they had finished beginner, but still did well). Once Jonathan and I figured out the purple pen/computer side of things, the set up was actually really fast, and very comparable to any other local event.
