Running warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Games (Soccer) 40:00 [3]

Second last game of the season, and the win streak continues with a 3-2 win over top gunners. Took a break from studying physics for this game.

Note
(sick)

Feeling crummy today, sore throat and kinda stuffy. Figure I'll just stay home and study and not overdo it before my last exam.

Running 1:32:57 [1] 8.26 km (11:16 / km) +591m 8:18 / km

Run/Uphill Hike up Mount Ida starting from the berry farm. Found a new dirt biking trail that I used to get uphill, which just went up (~20% grade for 1.5km or so) so walked the entire thing. Then I hit the snow at around 1000m elevation, all the roads had about 8-12 inches, but the forest and trails much less. Most of the creeks were running down the center of all the trails, so they were fairly open until around 1100m where I turned around because of the snow.

Ran down the westernmost silvermine dirt biking trail.

Orienteering 40:00 [2] 5.0 km (8:00 / km)

Phil set up a nice course in South Canoe with blue streamers at each of the checkpoints, and I wanted a break from bio studying, so off I went. Pretty good run, a couple of tiny 5-10s mistakes, but then one monster 3 minute mistake on #9. Having mapped the area, I was cursing my mapping, thinking I was slightly further up the trail than I was. Turns out the mapping was okay, (I only really need to fix a single form line to exagerate a couple of small re-entrants a tad bit more) and I just didn't know exactly where I was. Rest of the course was good, caught up to Sheila, Keeya, and Alan at various points who were also doing the course.

Couldn't find the Garmin, so approximate distance...

On another note, 3 final exams this week, so training will take a bit of a hit, but after next Monday it is all orienteering until after JWOC!
