Bought a new phone today - my Moto G3 finally started to kick the bucket to a point not worth fixing (I think I was on phone screen number 4). Battery starting to barely last the day (had it die on me a couple of times), headphone jack not working reliably, and charging port starting to be iffy as well. Most importantly, the touch screen digitizer started getting phantom touches all over the place, and 1/3 of the screen (including where the e and s keys were located on my keyboard) died. Made me change my default message reply from yes, to yup.
Anyways after about 6-8 hours of online sleuthing through devices only marginally different from each other, but all way bigger than they should be (my phone shouldn't be a tablet - I already have a tablet to be a tablet) I bought a Nokia 2.2. Thinking back on it, if I had only spend one hour researching, and had worked on some of my backlog of mapping jobs, I could have gotten a much
better more expensive device for the same amount of time input.
Spent much of the afternoon once I got through my midterms setting it up, and other than a brief hiccup where I uninstalled the keyboard, leaving me with only google voice command "keyboard" (since deactivated), most of my
customization google removal (as much as possible) is going fairly well.
