Supposed to be going to Kelowna for OK cup #2, but feeling aweful so slept for 14 hours instead. Just a head cold with a bit of a sore throat and a constant cough.

Skiing - Classic 1:45:00 [1]

Easy classic ski before/during the pirate loppet. Went up Sky Trail to the North Hub, Larch Lake Loop was ungroomed and really slow, so after that I came down the road to Gullans. Watched the middle bit of the loppet, and then went and did the short south loop and then Chalet Loop backwards. Good ski, feeling pretty good, but a slight cough started today.

Agility at the south hub and easy skiing before doing 4 sprints of 830m around the stadium. Body is feeling tired, but was able to push it during the sprints.

Sprint starts and backcountry. Easy ski with fun coming down Catamount Canyon in the dark. Lots of Fun. Body is feeling a little tired, but overall pretty good.

Easy ski before/after the intervals. Feeling good, but a bit tired from the heavier strength workout.

Skiing - Skate intervals 24:00 [3]

2x8 minutes. First time doing intervals of this length. Ran out of juice with around 1.5 minutes left in the last one... otherwise it went well.

Hard workout at strength since there is no race this coming weekend. Feeling really tired afterwards, but it was a great workout!

Reino loppet. Great race! very happy with beating eric, and best of all my body felt good. It wasn't just a brain forcing the body to do things it couldn't (the rest of the season so far), but my body actually responded well to what my brain wanted. Just below the 1 hour mark, in super slow snowy conditions.

Warm up and then a group cool-down with a bunch of the pelicans/flamingos.

Swimming 45:00 [1]

Fun playing around in the pool before the awards ceremony. Nice to play in the water, haven't been to the pool in over a year!

Super easy ski around parts of Larch Hills. Checked out parts of the playground that I want to turn into the new sprint course. Will have to make a few adjustments to my ideas.

Ski practice at larch hills with 4x5 minute intervals. Arms feeling tired, but stayed in zones well.

Really easy ski of the loppet route. I approached it as a recovery ski, and it was good. Great conditions.

Strength at SAS. Fairly easy workout due to the races on the weekend. Legs are still feeling tired.

Skiing - Skate race 31:14 [5] 10.0 km (3:07 / km)

10k interval start free at sovereign for bc cup. Pacing was good, second lap was slightly faster than the first ands i left pretty much everything out on the course. Happy with the weekend, but still needs improvement.

Skiing - Skate warm up/down 50:00 [1]

Shorter warm up due to long distance and tired legs. Cool down was also short due to the fact that I needed food more than to flush lactate.

Ditched the fun race to go out to the far east for the first time ever. Beautiful day, absolutely a hoot coming back down. Hit 51km/h! Was going to go down South Canoe as well, but decided that it would not be beneficial since I felt quite tired after the race yesterday.

Teck OK Cup 1 in Revelstoke. First race of the year for skiing, and with the cold that I have had the past few days I did not have high expectations.

Tried to have goodish pacing and catch rides when I could when people passed me. The other goal was to beat all the girls... which I managed to do.

Race went fairly well, all things considered. Can really fell the cold and how I am out of shape.
