Long run from Mulligans Flat along Centenary Trail to one Tree Hill and back with Rob, Frogga, Tom Brazier and Paul Cuthbert. Bit nervous beforehand due to running with these faster guys. Freezing cold - had vest and gloves and wished I'd had beanie or thermal. Wind cut through and was regularly raining as well which was even worse. Easy pace to start with and legs felt ok, i.e., not post marathon exhausted. Plenty of chat as Tom had just returned from what sounded like magnificent mountain running in Europe. Beautiful track which I'd not been on before - rolling single track through forest and paddocks. Bit of a pinch up to One Tree Hill but not too bad with steps cut into trail. Didn't hang round at top of the hill too long before setting off back again. Grant and I had a planned short cut if things were tough however we were both going ok so wasn't necessary. I was on the front last 5k or so and felt a bit like a domestique in the tour driving the train before the GC contenders swept past. Fortunately they didn't sweep past and I felt pretty good all the way to the end. Enjoyable run and nice to meet two guys (Tom and Paul) who Rob rabbits on about but I'd never met.

Putting out controls for Majura O event. Wind was ice cold. Nice to be out in the forest with map in hand, pottering along and putting out flags. Got lost a few times so glad Rob had taped the sites! Cold day to be helping at orienteering.

Mona Intervals session with Industry Goup (aka Martys group). Had planned to do half the session or just take it easy but got a bit enthused when started and felt fine so did it all pretty solid. Really fun running with those guys and seeing Marty 100m ahead. Marty definitely would've been doing ints at sub 3min ks. Fast and fun session.

Had to run over to the Searle residence to borrow their car. It was freezing cold with pea soup fog at 7pm. Brr.
BB has been complaining about lack of weight updates lately so back into routine this week. Don't seem to have suffered too much over holiday. Started watching this cracking Dieting show on SBS so gonna apply some of their techniques. Maybe.

Back on the bike for super commute. Bike gears need a service. Or a clean.
