Majura long run with Frogga, Dev and Dev's mate Mathew. Traditional course up Majura, HH and Ainslie. Felt yesterdays hills although mostly on Majura. Great to see Dev out again and thanks to his training break managed to keep with him. Also Frogga still in recovery mode from illness so between them they made me look good on Ainslie.
Bacon & Egg roll at Sfoglia afters. Bit dry.

kayaking 1:30:00 [1]

Belinda and I enrolled in a Beginner kayaking course with local kayaking club. Was down at Molongolo reach- otherwise known as airport end of the lake. Fair bit of faffing and instruction but really enjoyed time on water and was a real workout for core muscles. Could really feel all the bits Cathy's exercises get me to work on. Really enjoyable. Didn't fall in either.

Crackenback and Aranda Hill with Hoggster and new Aranda resident Constable Frogga. Met at Frogga's new abode which we spoke of in unflattering terms and headed out with Hoggster showing Frogga some of his local knowledge. Crackenback was tough but better than last time being closer to Hoggster. Frogga took heaps of time out of me on the downs. We were all pretty spent after crackenback but Andy showed his pedigree on Aranda Hill and no downs allowed me to hold off a coughing and spluttering Frogga. Tired now!

Just checked times from a month ago. Pretty much the same - a few seconds faster on each but only a handful.

Gentle run over to OACT office to finally drop back ACT Champs/The Gib folder. Then up over Aranda Hill and back past Aranda shops to inspect cafe progress which was good - place semi gutted, roaster in place and generally progress.

Pelting down rain in the morning so didn't super commute and instead ran home. Tried to cut straight across Adelaide Ave forgetting traffic was bad. Made it eventually but then all the rain meant no way I could cross fast flowing storm water creek so up to Curtin bridge and home. Felt pretty good - certainly better than last week - but figured I would persist with my rest week until Saturday.
