Beach run with SPottage along Hyams Beach from where we were staying. All beach and got to the end where naval base is before turning round. Beautiful winters day with the waves lapping at the feet and pushing us up into softish sand. Had contemplated intervals but we both seemed to forget about it once running and yakking.

Long slow run along the coast from little hamlet we were staying in at Jervis bay. First part along the beach with A&Z, Spottage and his daughter AMy who has been doing a bit of running. First ever run with the girls and could be something for the future although probably not just yet. Solo run was north along coast alternating between bush tracks and beach until past something called Plantation Point when it became beach and bike path. This bit was familiar too as it was part of the Huskisson Half course a few of us did about 2 years ago. Turned around when I was probably a k or so from Huski but it was a good spot to turn.
Run was slow and stop starty with a few loo stops and fiddling to get footy radio reception on my phone. Windy day but beautifully sheltered north fo plantation point. Had a banana smoothie and killer python at the well placed cafe next to our accomodation before returning to family life. Havent run that long for a while and while it was flat and slow could feel the leg weariness that comes from stepping up alittle bit.

weight:82.7kg shoes: Salomon Sense Mantra Blue

Hopefully last time out at The Gib before event weekend. About 2hrs taping solo. Blowing an absolute gale. Hopefully not like that on race day. Nice coffee at Food Lovers in Bungendore afterwards. best coffee I've had in Bungendore so far and "Colonel Sanders" panini was excellent.

Run home from work with 20min tempo surge in the middle. Running in the dark vertigo better than 10 days ago. Felt pretty ok but could tell had been on my feet for a while on Sunday. New pegasus felt nice.
