Weekend away with Julie and Connah Cutbush and family at a place called Stanwell Park. Decided on longish solo ride saturday morning and Shep and then Connah gave me a few tips about riding into Royal National Park. Climb up out of Stanwell Park to start with was tough (a few k uphill?) but then into the NP was great. A few cars around but respectful despite narrow shoulder. Got to a junction turn around and looked at map before deciding to head up hill to Governor Game Lookout. Not much of a lookout compared to some of views already seen so turned round after a gel and found some good rhythm on way home. Bike was good and finished at something called Bald Hill with great views, paragliders taking off and a raisin toast and coke from the ice cream van. tops and really enjoyed the ride.

Ride in to work via physio, bank in town and then a lap of the lake including far fyshwick end. felt good on a hot day.

Plod round aranda. Didnt feel overwhelmingly fatigued which was good. Just very slow. Joint at top of tibia (I think thats what CathyH said it was) doesnt like rough ground at the mo.
